Lent the Journey to Easter

What is Lent? Lent is the 40 day period from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday(the day before Easter). During, this time the church ecclessia (an assembly or gathering called for a specific purpose) mirrors Christs journey giving alms, praying, and fasting.

What does this mean? Charleston Baptist Temple will be in a contemplative posture throughout these days. Culminating in our Holy Week services from 3/29-4/5 where we will celebrate the risen LORD.
