LENTEN and EASTER SEASON of MUSIC
APRIL 2
Maundy Thursday Service on Thursday, April 2nd in the Fellowship Hall. The Last Supper is observed in a space decorated as The Upper Room, tables set with symbolic foods that we will eat together. Music will complement the interactive story, and bread will be broken and wine poured.
APRIL 5
A Brass Quartet with be with us again on Easter Sunday, April 5th.
We will begin pre-service music at 10:45am and attendees may flower the cross before the worship service begins.
CHOIR
The Chancel Choir leads the worship at 11:00 a.m. and allows singers to lift their voices in praise singing all styles of choral literature. Rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
HANDBELLS
Handbell players are intergenerational and practice as needed. We have five octaves of Schulmerich Handbells.
PIPE ORGANS
The Baptist Temple houses two fine pipe organs. The sanctuary houses a 48 rank Holtkamp organ built for the church’s centennial in 1969. The Chapel houses a

In addition to the music ministry, Baptist Temple affirms other forms of art as worthy instruments for Christian witness and worship. There is always some type of art exhibit taking place in our building. Quilts, wood carvings, needlework, painting

Ash Wednesday Service: A reflective service to begin the Lenten Season
Maundy Thursday Service: Evening Worship Service with special communion emphasis
Easter Cantata: Evening Worship Service usually held on Palm Sunday evening
Feast of Carols: Evening candlelight worship service held on either the 3rd or 4th Sunday of Advent
